Here is another haul that I want to share with you all. I went to Ulta Wednesday and planned to get a couple of the Revlon Lip Butters but ended up with a OPI nail polish, a NYX Extreme Lip Cream and a NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss (love them!). At Walgreens, I was going to get a couple of the Milani products but since I was on a budget, I ended up with a Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick instead. I also got a couple of the Revlon Lip Butters at my grocery store as well as a NYC 8 Hour Lipgloss and Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish at CVS. and here are my thoughts on each product:
NYC City Proof 8 Hour Lipgloss in Everlasting Blossom:
Need a gloss that lasts as long as you do? Meet NYC’s new Up to 8HR City Proof Gloss. Its incredible formula offers high-shine and rich color with no sticky feel and serious staying power: up to 8 hours of wear! It also smoothens and conditions with kokum butter, jojoba oil and a host of good-for-you antioxidants.
So just gloss and go!
When I first saw this lipgloss, I have went back and forth to get it or not. Everlasting Blossom is so gorgeous! This color reminded me of MAC Good Lovin' l/g from Surf Baby but lighter. I love that it's not sticky and I have yet to test this lipgloss for a full 8 hour wear so I will do that soon. This is my first NYC product in a long time! I have been a fan of their clear lipgloss back then as well as their roll-on lipglosses that that had different flavors and scents.
Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle: This is a very pretty shade! It is a pinky brown color that I would reach for all the time if I'm in the mood to wear a neutral lip color (right now I'm still into bright lips). I love that it applies creamy and it looks amazing on!
Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie: Gorgeous shade! At first it almost looked like Lollipop but has more pink to it. I love this shade!! I have used this as a lip stain and gloss on top and I love it!
Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick in Coral Crush: This is a stunning lipstick!! When I saw this, I had to get it!! I was thinking it could be Watch Me Simmer's dupe but WMS leans more orange and this one leans more red. If I were to compare MAC Lady Danger to this, then they would be very close. When applied, it did apply a bit unevenly but I do love the shade very much!
Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in Pink Shock:
Why You'll Love It
Chip-resistant formula for bolder color that just won't quit.
• Easy-flow brush.
• Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene free.
For Best Results
First apply a clear base coat to help your nail color last longer. With one sweep, paint the first line of nail polish starting from the base to the tip. Then apply color to the rest of the nail.
For Shredded shades, pick your favorite Color Show nail color as a base and apply. Wait for nails to dry completely. Apply one coat of Color Show Shredded nail color and watch it shred!
When I first saw the nail polishes in person at Wal-Wart when I was in California two months ago, they looked so pretty! When I saw them at CVS, Pink Shock was the color that stood out to me! It is a pretty hot pink shade and will try is out soon!
OPI Happy Anniversary: It is a gorgeous silver sparkly shade! I got the last one at Ulta and will try it with Pink Shock to see how it looks! It's been awhile since I got a OPI nail polish and this color was too pretty to pass up.
NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in Beautiful: This is a gorgeous shade! I had to get this since Mega Shine Lipglosses lure me in! When applied, it applied sheer and it's buildable to make it either opaque or semi opaque.
NYX Extreme Lip Cream in Dolly Girl:
Beautify your lips with this velvety rich lip cream that provides extreme pigmentation and a silky finish. This lip cream is the combination of lipstick and lip gloss with supernatural lasting strength. Intensify your look with the Extreme Lip Cream in any of the 13 vivid colors.
I got this to try it out since this product does remind me of the MAC Kissable Lipcolours. I got Dolly Girl which is a fuchsia pink shade and I love the pigmentation of it but the feel of this product is a bit drying. It requires to wear lip balm to make it feel moisturizing. Although I'm not in love with it yet but will use this again sometime if I don't forget.
